Wow. Time flies, doesn't it? I didn't realise that my subscription runs out in 4 days! :'( Oh well. I've had fun with it. I really appreciate everyone who gave me the subs. I am definitely going to have to get another one sometime.

I know I've been MIA for a while. Things have been so hectic around here. I am so sorry. Also, I just haven't really been inspired enough to do anything. I've been thinking of how to write more on Sacred Blood and keep coming up with nothing. I know where I want to be in the story but I can't seem to get there. Does that make sense? I still need a legend but I just can't come up with one. Grrrr. This is so frustrating. Oh well. It'll all come about in the right time.

Anyways, as soon as I have enough inspiration I shall be putting up more graphics. And hopefully some more on Sacred Blood. Till then......

Hi, everyone. I know that I've been away for a while and it appears that I might be away a bit longer. It seems like I've lost some of my creativity and have spun into slight depression.

I found out about an hour ago that my aunt died today. My Aunt Helen rang my mum and dad Monday and said that Aunt Sandy was admitted into hospital. That was when they discovered that she had cancer. I know not what type it was. The problem was they had to constantly drain her lungs of fluid. My mum is guessing it was lung cancer due to the cigarettes but who knows really. Aunt Helen said that they had given her a time limit but no one knew how long it would be. Also, according to my mum, a lot of people kept getting after Aunt Sandy to go to the doctors and she refused to go being the stubborn woman that I knew that she was. See, my stepdad is the youngest of 9 children. Aunt Sandy married Daddy's brother Bob. So I guess it's not blood related but she was still my family. Who says that family has to solely be blood? This woman watched me grow up. She saw me once a year when the rest of the family got together at the family reunions we have every year. Sadly, since I left college, I've not been able to see my family in years and they are all dying on me. The last time I saw Aunt Sandy was about 5 years ago when I took Cody, my oldest son, to the reunion. Anyways, Aunt Sandy is an Illinois native, born and raised. She lived there for years until a couple of years ago when her and Uncle Bob moved to Florida where my Aunt Helen and her grandkids are at. Mom said that they are transporting Aunt Sandy's body back to Illinois for the funeral and all. I think it's where she'd want to be. Anyways, guess I've spoken enough about things. I should go. Besides, it's getting late and I've a long day tomorrow. Night all. Just thought I'd update some. My apologies for the depressing news. I shall return soon and hopefully I'll have my creative streak back.

Ok. so here's the deal. My wife and I, , are going to be joining as one to do our stock gallery. We are going to make my gallery the collab. So for now on, most of the stock taken shall be in . Also, I'm thinking of redoing my Sacred Blood book cover contest. Are there any suggestions on how I can make it better than the last one, which was a major flop? Let me know what you think, ok?

Ok. Here's the sitch. I'm writing my book, Sacred Blood, as most of you know. But, I need to create a legend which the book is somewhat based off of. Trust me, once I'm able to write more you'll understand what I'm talking about. I just can't give out all the surprises in the book. There wouldn't be anything worth reading then! Anyways, I need to write this legend out and I have no clue what to write. It's dealing with Queen Hatshepsut, the queen of the vampires. Yeah, yeah. I know, Anne Rice already has a queen of the vampires, Akasha. Trust me, no one could ever replace Anne Rice's work. Her vampire folklore is the best. Anyways, that's off the subject. If you would like or have any suggestions or ideas, please note me or something. I really need help in writing out this legend. It's got to have some mystery, be based on the story (Duh!), and can't be easy to figure out. If that was the case then there wouldn't be a book, right? So here's what I'd like you to do. Try coming up with some suggestions or ideas and send them to me. I really need to get this part of my story out of the way so then I can continue. There's so much that needs to be done on this bloody project and I can't wait to be able to write more. I really hate writers block.

Ok. Wow. I have to admit, I'm starting to wonder if perhaps I should go ahead and close this one. There's been no entries and that's cool. I have to admit that I'm disappointed on the turn out of zero entries. If you are in the process of making entries, please note me. Otherwise, thanks to everyone who's donated prizes and judging.

My apologies if it seems like I'm being anal regarding my descriptions. But, this is a book and these are my characters. All that I want is to see what people can come up with, using their imaginations. I gave ideas but they aren't to be taken like they have to be done that way. I stated what I'd like but knowing that they probably wouldn't end up like that. I hope that I didn't make people think that that is what I intended on them making. If that is the case then I sincerely apologise.

Anyways, I'll give this one more week. If there's no entries by then than the contest is closed. Again, thank you to the judges and to all that donated prizes and pimpage.

Ok. I think it's about time that I do another contest. So here it is. I am writing a book called Sacred Blood. My wife, , has already done a book cover for me. But I'm curious to see what other people can come up with. So here's what I want you to do. Make me a front cover.....and a back cover.

RULES:

1. In order to be accepted you MUST enter both a front cover AND a back cover. Entries must be new and dated between the contest dates. NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED! If you do not follow the rules than you can count your submission as denied.

2. All credits MUST be in your description of any and all stock that you use. Also, please put my icon and a link to my contest in your description. You must also note me with your entry. Please do not leave links to my front page as I won't get them as quick as I shall a note.

3. Styles accepted are photomanips, digital paintings, 3D and drawings.

4. All front cover entries MUST include the book title....Sacred Blood.

5. Pendant MUST be on Alexis's neck.

6. Two entries MAX. That means, you can enter 2 front covers. But if you do that you MUST enter 2 back covers as well.

Here's a description of my characters:

Alexis (Lexy) Riordan- Half Irish half Egyptian. Black, silky hair down to about her shoulders. Main character. She wears an ancient pendant around her neck at all times with the name Meshkenet engraved in hieroglyphs. She's young, 24 years old. Her eyes are like sapphires.

Micah-Egyptian. Vampire, though not known to Lexy quite yet. Also a main character. Long, straight black hair that goes to the shoulderblades. Eyes are a gray-blue-silver. Micah stands about 6 feet tall. Micah looks to be around Alexis's age.

Asherus-Egyptian. Vampire, evil. Again, not known to Lexy yet. Villian. His hair is straight, black and goes to about his shoulders. He's around the same heighth as Micah. Asherus's eyes are more amber. Asherus looks to be slightly older.....between 35-45 years old.

The pendant has a jewel in it that has a hint of red and blue in it. Again, the name Meshkenet appears in hieroglyphs around the golden rim.


I'd like something dealing with the pyramids and the Sphinx, if possible. Of course, having my three main characters on there as well. The pendant plays a very important role in the book, so it's a must to have around Lexy's neck. Their looks are extremely important as well. The books consits of vampires, Egypt, royalty, love. There is going to be sex in the book as well as some other adult related issues. Oh, just an FYI. Lexy and Micah are lovers. The entire story takes place in Giza, in front of the Sphinx. The tomb that is discovered is practically right outside the Sphinx. My prominant characters on the front cover are definately Lexy and Micah. I'd like to see them, if possible, in a romantic position. But, not sure if that is possible. Remember, this is a supernatural romance. Here's the link to 's book cover.
